Krissa Williams

Krissa Williams is a civic researcher, program designer, and community strategist from Flatbush, Brooklyn, with roots in Trinidad and Tobago. A sophomore at Brooklyn Technical High School and an EcoPower '26 Operator, she develops research-based interventions and digital tools that connect underserved communities with actionable information. Her work spans qualitative field research, emergency-preparedness analysis, and community program design. She has led street interviews to understand neighborhood needs, identified critical gaps in coastal evacuation communications, and developed an energy-clinic model to reduce heat and blackout vulnerability for seniors in East Flatbush. She also built Block to Table, an original recipe library platform focused on accessible home cooking, composting, and neighborhood food culture. Known for thorough follow-through and sharp observational thinking, Krissa translates complex community challenges into clear, practical solutions. She is currently seeking internships and mentorship in civic research, program design, environmental policy, and web development.
